Mael Schärz - Diver from Thun

About me

My name is Mael Schärz, I am 17 years old and live in Thun. I have been passionately involved in diving since I was ten years old. I train at the Thun Swimming Club and am part of the national squad.

For me, diving is more than just a sport; it is a central part of my everyday life. Through this sport, I have developed valuable qualities such as discipline, self-motivation, and team spirit, which also benefit me outside the pool, such as at school or in everyday life.

In addition to sports, I am in my fourth year at Thun High School.

Successful Start to the Season
From December 19-21, the Winter Cup took place. I was able to show strong performances there and achieved a new personal best from the 3-meter board. This success motivates me greatly for the upcoming competitions this season.
